As of 2023/10, V4 has not yet been released.
It has the following features: lower fees and security. 🚀
I don't think it's about increasing yields for liquidity providers.🤔
🚩1.Hooks:
"Hooks" refer to sections where special programs can be added. This allows for unique actions to be taken before or after a trade, or when adding or removing currency. For instance, fees can be adjusted based on trading volume, or large trades can be spread out over time. This helps to prevent sudden significant market movements.
🚩2.Efficient System:
In v4, different "pools", or exchange locations, have been consolidated into one. This has made transactions faster and reduced costs. Additionally, with the introduction of "flash accounting", transaction fees are now incurred just once, making trades even more swift and cost-effective.
